How cotton satin sheets are made
Sateen is a complex hand-woven technique that gives fabrics a smooth, shiny surface. Cotton is a material that lends itself easily to this method, creating a soft, silky fabric. At Cotton & Co, we put quality first for your bed linen by selecting Egyptian cotton. Grown on the banks of the Nile, this variety of cotton plant (Gossypium barbadense) produces cotton flowers with the longest, softest and strongest fibres to produce prestigious sheets.
A range of products to meet your needs
The white cotton sateen sheet adds an elegant touch to your bedroom. Two sizes are available to suit your needs: 180 x 290 cm and 270 x 310 cm. The thickness of the sheet varies according to the weave. A thick sheet is the result of a tight weave. To achieve this, you need a high number of threads per cm². High-quality linen is distinguished by a weave with at least 100 threads per cm². At Cotton & Co, you can choose from sheets with a weave of between 120 and 240 threads. All our cotton sateen sheets are Oeko-Tex certified to protect the environment.

How do you care for your cotton sateen sheets?
You'll love how easy cotton satin sheets are to care for. Follow our care instructions to make sure your sheets last as long as possible. We recommend that you machine wash at 40°C (or cold) before using them for the first time. This will gently remove any residue. To wash as usual, machine wash at 40°C or 60°C maximum. Use a mild detergent that preserves the natural fibres of your clothes. Do not dry clean your cotton sateen sheets. Ironing can be done at a maximum temperature of 200°C.
