Egyptian cotton, an exceptional material

Our boutique specialises in Egyptian cotton bed linen. Considered the best cotton in the world, it is grown on the banks of the Nile, a natural environment that gives it unique properties. Its fibres are particularly long and fine. The longer they are, the better they comb. And the finer the fibres, the greater the number of threads used in weaving. The specific characteristics of Egyptian cotton make it a prestigious and highly prized material when woven. It is perfectly suited to pillowcases, as it is both very supple and extremely soft. It will provide incomparable comfort for your nights.

Remarkably hard-wearing pillowcases

Thanks to the climate and soil in which it grows, Egyptian cotton is also much stronger and more durable than other types of cotton. Satin and percale 100% pure Egyptian cotton

Our luxury pillowcases are made using 2 weaving methods: percale and satin. The differences lie in the way the threads are interwoven. For percale, the type of interlacing is classic and tight. This produces a fine, light fabric with a matt finish that is appreciated for its delicacy. Satin is more complex. This gives the pillowcases a shiny appearance and a silkier feel. The choice between the two is a matter of personal preference. That said, the freshness of percale is better suited to the warmer months, while satin is heavier and more suited to winter.

Luxurious pillowcases

Cotton & Co offers its pillowcases in two sizes to perfectly match the size of your pillows. The first size is square (65 x 65 cm), the second rectangular (50 x 70 cm). Our colours are timeless and elegant. Some of our models feature fancy touches such as stripes, satin stripes or a touch of cashmere. All our cotton pillowcases are made from fabric containing 120 or 240 threads per cm². This is our commitment to providing you with high quality products that will stay beautiful.

Oeko-Tex certification

Our cotton pillowcases are all Oeko-Tex certified. The aim of this label is to control the presence of harmful substances in textile products, in order to protect consumers. More precisely known as Standard 100 certification by Oeko-Tex, it ensures the legal conformity of products, based on a range of scientific criteria and laboratory tests. It's a guarantee of confidence and safety, but also an essential commitment to preserving the environment.
